My name is Liza I am a 24 year old graduate from the University of Virginia with 10 years of childcare experience. I started babysitting at an early age and developed several close relationships with families over the years. During my time in college, I began working with children through art. In a previous position at an art gallery, I was given the opportunity to lead children's art workshops, as well as facilitate various family events. I also worked with children through UVA's Fralin Museum, using art exhibitions and creative projects as a mentorship tool. I am passionate about the arts and greatly enjoy exploring creativity with children. I am also a big lover of the outdoors. I am very active and love to get outside and moving whenever I can, something I bring to my childcare philosophy. In my previous position, I worked as a teaching assistant at a Read more Montessori School in Richmond. While the majority of my time in this position was spent working with middle school aged children, I have been trained in each classroom, and feel comfortable providing academic and developmental support for all age groups.
