For starters, I have two brothers who do not live with me, they are 16 and 12. I was 12 when my brother was born. I helped out with him a lot. I changed his diapers, bottle fed him, held him and played with him. I was 16 when my other brother was born and I helped out with him a lot as well. When I was 14, I helped (volunteered) out in the church nursery. I have worked at 2 daycare centers in the past, both with infants, toddlers, two's and sometimes school age, so I have worked with multiple children at once I am comfortable watching 3-4 children all at one time. I worked in the kids zone, I also worked at the YMCA in camp and child watch. I worked for a family with 4 kids back in Nov 2013 the oldest boy was 12, then there Read more were two twins a boy and girl, they were 10 then the youngest boy was 7 and he had physical and mental delays. I had to get them on the bus in the mornings then get them off the bus in the afternoons, fix them a snack, help with homework, cook them dinner and put them to bed. I even gave the youngest a bath in the mornings so I don't mind doing any of that. I worked for a family in September 2014 to June 2015 with a 10 year old boy I drove him to school in the mornings and picked him up in the afternoon stayed with him at home until his parents got home, I also stayed with him all day when he was not in school and his parents would give us money to go do stuff. His sister is old enough to watch him now and he will be able to ride the bus this year to school. so that is way I am no longer working there. I also worked for a family and their 2 little ones 2 yrs and 5 in a half months i was with them from July 2015 to may 2016. I worked with 2 older girls 13 and 11 from October 2015 to November 2016. I also watched a 17 month old for 4 days her mother came to Richmond from Raleigh for work and needed a sitter so I watched her from May 8th to May 11th, we read books, played with toys, I have her breakfast and lunch, per her down for a nap and we went on walks around Richmond. I have a passion for kids and love being around them and working with them. I am CPR certified until April 2018 and I will get re certified when the time comes.
