Arlene cared for my 6 month old daughter on short notice as a backup to our regular nanny. She was fabulous, and felt like family during the first day! She was wonderful with the baby—lots of giggling and good times. She maintained a positive, peaceful and happy environment, and she took beautiful photos of my daughter to share her progress with me throughout the day. Not only did Arlene do a stellar job caring my daughter, she also cared for me. She went above and beyond, and while the baby was resting, proactively offered to help me with laundry, dishes (she unloaded and loaded the dishwasher!!), and even offered to wrap Christmas gifts!! As a single mom doing it all, I was so grateful to have Arlene the week before Christmas. Her help was priceless at a time when things have been very stressful for me, and her ability to be intuitive and see what she could do to help relieved so much stress for me so I could be my best self for my daughter—and that’s priceless. Arlene just looked around and knew what to do to help. I highly recommend Arlene if you are seeking someone who can take stellar care of your little one, and leave you/the household better then it was before she came. I would definitely hire Arlene again for back up care, and she'd also make a wonderful regular nanny.
