Hi, my name is Kathleen Roherty, and I am a part time student at NOVA. I have been babysitting children since I was little. I am the youngest of 5 children, two of whom are disabled. I grew up in a family taking care of kids with autism, adhd, and now monitoring my dad who has Alzheimer's. I have worked with babies up to pre-teens. I was a tutor for 4 years for a family with learning disabilities. I choose to babysit because I truly love working with kids. I maintain contact with all the children I've worked with. I love working with children and helping them to develop positive skills. My favorite thing to do is read aloud. I like doing crafts with the kids and playing outside. I am very pet friendly as well. I love working with children and helping them to inspire positive attitudes in themselves and Read more others.
