My name is Gerica. I'm an 18-year-old college student. I am currently attending my first year at the Merced Junior College. I love taking care of children and animals. I'm perfect at taking care of any child of any age. People tend to tell me I'm a child whisper because children just come up to me like they've known me their whole life. I'm a very outgoing kind of girl, I like to have fun and always being happy. Most importantly I love making children happy because making a child happy to me is the best thing that could ever happen. I'm also currently CPR in Adult and Pediatric, First Aid and AED Certified. I usually babysit my 5-year-old little brother has Autism so I know what it's like working and understanding special needs children. Meanwhile my 6-year-old brother is half-deaf so I know some ASL (American Sign Language). We Read more are currently fostering my 1-year-old brother because we have his two older brothers (which are my 5 and 6-year-old brother) and we're hoping to finalize the adoption in December 2018. I currently don't have a car because I'm saving up for one, but I'll still be able to get to your house when needed. I will also be getting my car in a month. My hobbies and interests include spending time with my family, volunteering at our local zoo and helping animals and people in need. I know what you're thinking "oh she's just saying this to be more liked", but not really. I've volunteered at the Applegate Zoo for almost a year when I was in High School. I was there from June 2016 - May 2017. I don't know why I love volunteering, I think it's just the thought that I'm giving back to people or animals in need and making a difference makes me feel good inside.
