Hello! My name is Tristyn & I am from Newport News , Virginia. I am 18 years old & I’ve recently graduated from high school with plans of continuing my education in Ultrasound Technology. I have been doing paid babysitting since I was between 12 & 13 & I have cared for children of all ages , particularly babies & toddlers. At age 12 I was involved in a nursery at my church , after turning 13 I began independently babysitting. I have taken the time to learn the best ways to properly care , teach , & provide for a child. As well as taking care of their health , I am first aid + CPR certified. Whether it’s physically (cooking , cleaning , changing diapers) , or emotionally , (learning how children develop & express themselves , especially through their actions), throughout the years I have learned a Read more ton about the precise needs for a child. I am always open to find anything to keep them engaged , active & focused , especially through sports & hobbies (including reading & playing). I am more than welcome & available to work through any schedule whether it be for school or extracurricular activities , even moments where parents just need some time away! Growing up with a family who loves animals I am pet friendly , specifically to dogs & cats. I have my own vehicle as well as a state issued drivers license. I am extremely welcoming towards children with special needs. Growing up with a brother with autism I have dealt with countless emotional roller coasters that come with it , & from a young age I would be put in charge to watch over him.
