Hello beautiful families! :D My name is Adanna Lassiter and I have been loving and caring for children for over 10 years! My heart is huge and I am a tender, gentle soul. I have every bit of patience and passion necessary to love and care for a child. And although I only have about 4 and a half years of paid/formal childcare experience, my love for this line of work began long before. Over the years I have participated in countless volunteer opportunities that allowed me to work directly with children of all ages. From low income community events, to afterschool reading programs and even an all girls poetry/art club! My experience working with children is extensive and varies over many different areas of work. A little over four years ago, though, is where I found my true passion; early childhood education! In 2017 I got my first job Read more as an assistant teacher at a private preschool, working in the toddler class. I had no idea a job could bring someone so much joy! I fell in love with the work and being surrounded by the laughter and happiness of children everyday. Over the years I have learned a tremendous amount about caring for young children. I worked longest and learned the most from Learning Care Group, which has schools all over the country As a Lead Teacher there I was trained for, and successfully worked in every single classroom. So I have extensive experience caring for children of every age group. I love every single child I’ve worked with and I know that I would love your child/children with my whole entire heart, and care for them as if they were my own! Through LCG I was able to obtain my CPR + First Aid certification multiple times so I’m trained to stay level headed and respond quickly and effetely in a number of possible situations. I believe that my experience will allow me to provide your children with the very best, personalized care that they need! I have experience tracking developmental milestones and planning/implementing age specific lesson plans to aid in that development. As a lead teacher it's also my responsibility to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the classroom, so keeping your child's environment clean and sanitized is also a priority of mine, especially now with the COVID pandemic still going on.
