Hello, my name is Yvette. I am a Mom to two very active sons who are 21 and 24. Children have always been a love of mine and I've been caring for children for 43 years, starting with my brother when I was 8! I have been a licensed Virginia PreK-8th grade teacher since 1995 and also hold a Florida teaching certificate. I have formally taught for 21 years and have worked for after school programs as well. During the span of my career, I have taught preschool, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 8th grades. I have worked at Blue Ridge Community College, Germanna Community College, and James Madison University. I currently work for Boys and Girls Club where I teach K-2nd grade. I am COVID vaccinated, a non-smoker, CPR and First Aid certified. I would love an opportunity to talk with you about your childcare needs. Please let Read more me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
