Hi I’m Zakiya ! I am 29yrs of age and miss working with children! I recently was working for Henrico County Public Schools as an Instructional Assistant. I was assigned at Elko Middle School and though I was only there for 4 months, I am told that I truly made an impact. Prior to working for HCPS, I had always been the “designated babysitter” and at one point in time I even relocated to Texas was my nephews nanny! I have learned all that I know about taking care of children from helping with family & friends, to working at my godmothers daycare and then becoming an I.A. I am currently a full time banker looking to make the switch back into childcare full time! I truly miss the little laughters , blooming personalities and warm hugs that once upon a time used to get me through my day!
