I have 16+ years experience volunteering on a rescue squad as well. Ive always enjoyed hands on emergency care & helping others. I am single and so not have children therefore, I love to love on my friends kids :) Even on some of the toughest days the little ones always make me smile & it brings me alot of joy. I believe I have a special connection with children and even have a quick wit that allows me to deal with a special needs child or even a child that is hard to keep focused. In my adult life, I've "borrowed" friends children HeHeHeHe helped neighbors out in need with there kids, and spent alot of my time after work "destressing" while pouring time into the kids. I found that it was a great way to destress and something that I came to love. Now that I'm retiring, I need to supplement my income and would Love to do something I enjoy along with using my skills. I am an EMT & have been so since 1989 also CPR\AED certified along with a slew of other public safety and emergency certifications & training. As a 911 dispatcher since 1990 I have been thru a very expensive background investigation process to be hired into that position and must have kept it "clean" in order to maintain that work status. (We went thru evenbmore vigorous than what police officers do) I can provide verification of that & would be happy to go thru another if needed or wanted if you chose me.
