Hi there! As of 4.09.2022, I am unavailable. If things change, I will update my profile. Best of luck in your search! :) My name is Daphne, I am a 32 year-old bilingual elementary school teacher and would love to be a part time caregiver for your family. Here's a little bit about me. I am currently working with a family during the week and am only available Saturday and Sunday (any time) and overnights 7 days/week from 11pm-7am. I am a 2nd grade public school teacher for the city of Chesapeake and have been an educator for 11 years. Before beginning my professional career, I babysat as a teenager and while in college. I will gladly share the reference of a family of whom I nannied nearly 5 years. Why, you might ask, is a teacher looking to babysit? Well, as you know, we are all stuck at home Read more and are very uncertain about what will happen this fall. I know some of you HAVE to go back to work, but need childcare to do so. I thought to myself, "why not provide a family or two with my time, experience, and peace of mind?" I have over 15 years experience working with children and as required by the state, I am CPR and First Aid certified. Who better to care for your child than a teacher that already loves caring for children? Please note, I will not just sit your child in front of a television or video game. Being that I am teacher, I have endless ideas to help your child with his or her homework through the use of flashcards, games, arts and crafts, and other fun activities. If you have been looking for a reliable sitter, tutor for your child, or perhaps a helping hand around the house with laundry or food preparation, please consider me. I don't mean to be so long winded, but I want you to feel confident in choosing me to be the person that cares for your little one(s). All it takes is one in-person interview to prove that my addition to your family will be rewarding for you because you will rest assure knowing that your child is safe and in good hands. It will also be rewarding for your child because he/she will benefit from a fun, caring and educationally-inclusive environment. References are available upon request. I look forward to hearing from you.

I interviewed Ms Daphne and was highly impressed. She is professional, mature, and would definitely higher her if need be. My son who normally doesn't approach strangers felt at ease around her.
