Hi! My name is Sonia (so-knee-uh) and I am 19 years old. Currently, I am a student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. I am studying Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, and am currently in a Community Emergency Response Team Basic Training. With that being said, I can provide a safe environment for your children! I love working with kids and have been for many years. One of my favorite volunteer opportunities was at the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program where I assisted special needs children during horse back riding lessons. I also have personal experience helping care for my brother with special needs! I would have loved to make a career out of working with children (teaching, social work, etc), but I figured that I could still do this on the side and through volunteer efforts.
