Hi! I am currently in my 15th year teaching elementary school in Fairfax County Public Schools. I have my master's degree in elementary eduction pre-k-6, and my undergraduate degree in psychology. I am also a certified yoga teacher and mindfulness facilitator. I worked as a nanny in college and during summers as a teacher, and spent many years babysitting in middle and high school before that. I have experience with children of all ages, and would be happy to provide contact information for families from any time in my childcare history. I grew up with dogs and have one of my own, so I am very comfortable with pets as well. During the school year I am mostly looking for occasional jobs on weekends, date nights, etc. I would be open to a more regular weekday schedule during the summer if the right situation and family came along.
