Hi my name is Savannah! I am a 22 year old college student currently studying social work with a minor in child development. All throughout high school I focused largely on child development and received several Certificates in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I have lived in Salt Lake City for about 6 years now and love all there is to do, really enjoying everything outdoors! I am very passionate about children and love being in their company. I enjoy being surrounded by children because of their imagination, innocence, and creativity. I believe that children should be given the ability to become independent individuals by setting limits with positive discipline, praise, and encouragement. Early in life I grew up with my cousins, all of whom are younger than me, so naturally I developed an understanding and nurturing nature. I also have two younger siblings, one 8 years younger and Read more the other 10 years younger, who I have always helped care for and look after. Along with that I have spent 3+ years babysitting for children ranging in age from 12 months to 8 years and have experience caring for 2-3 children at a time. I am a creative person who enjoys arts and crafts, imaginative games, listening to different genres of music, dancing, reading and exploring the outdoors. I truly enjoy being with children and being given the opportunity to discover their unique personalities! It is very important to me to work with families who I can trust and in turn who can trust me, so I hold a high responsibility to myself for having strong communication, mindfulness and respect. Just know that I take my responsibility to you and the care of your children very seriously and I really look forward to meeting you and your little ones!
