Hi There! *looking for summer positions 2022* My name is Megan, and I am a School Psychology Graduate student at the University of Utah. During the school year I earn a living through my program by doing research and spending time in SLC schools as a graduate therapist. This leaves me open for a summer nannying position! I have worked with children for over 11 years in a variety of different settings. I have worked as an infant teacher at a day care, a preschool teacher (ages 2.5 -4), a direct care worker in child and adolescent units of a psychiatric hospital, a private nanny for several years, and a case manager for early head start programs. Currently, I work in an elementary school providing group and individual therapy. I have an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, a bachelor's degree in Social Work, and I am currently working on Read more a 4 year degree on my way to becoming a School Psychologist. I am passionate about promoting social emotional learning and creating supportive, caring spaces for children to learn and grow in. I love doing crafts, going to the park, hiking, playing soccer, and reading! I am originally from NJ and have lived in SLC for 4 years. Very animal friendly, child/infant CPR certified ( last training June 2021, would be happy to refresh) and I have copies of professional background checks/fingerprints done through the state. I am looking to work with a family that can be slightly flexible, I have a 10 day intensive course this summer (*still waiting on the exact dates*) that I would need time off for. Otherwise, I can commit to up to 40 hours in a week (or less!) Looking for $20-25/ hr depending on the number of children/ responsibilities. I have a Subaru Crosstrek and a clean driving record!
