I have worked with all sorts of kids through the different childcare jobs I’ve had & I have loved each and every kid with my whole heart. In high school I took, early childhood education, child development, psychology & I did a year long internship with the jr high counselors. Growing up my parents owned a restaurant & were gone quite frequently & I was left in charge of my two younger siblings. I have done lots of babysitting for people in my church. I taught many Sunday school class for the youth within my church, I was a bear scout den leader. I spend most of my time with children & I love every second. I love being a part of watching them learn & grew. Every moment is truly a learning moment with kids. Because of all of the child care jobs I have had I passed a Read more background check saying I am safe to work with children, I am CPR certified and I feel comfortable watching large groups of kids at once. The most kids I’ve had at one time was 16 kids ages 3-5 & 8 kids 1-3 (the legal limit in Mississippi) I also know a little bit of ASL. I graduated high school in 2018, from a small town in Utah. The summer I graduated I spent in Ghana Africa building a children’s shelter for disabled children & working in a local school. Since then I have worked in a daycare as an afternoon preschool age teacher & toddler teach for about a year in Mississippi. After that I got a job offer to be a live in nanny in Texas! I had four kids from 12-3. I did school drop off & pick up. When they switched to remote learning I help the younger ones with their school work all day. I also would take them to do all sorts of fun activities in the summer, pool days, parks, family birthday parties, ect. I also made sure they made it to all sorts, piano & dance classes. After a year of being a nanny I made the decision to move back to utah and quickly got hired to be a preschool teacher at adventure time in Provo, I taught the 3 year old class for a few months before they moved me to an office admin. Shortly after that I got offered a position at kids who count as a registered behavioral technician, working one on one with kids diagnosed with ASD. I have absolutely LOVED it. Unfortunately with my job when I have client cancellations I don’t get paid for those hours so, I’m looking to make a little extra cash to help makeup for that! Side note, I’m not a huge animal person, so as long as I don’t have to take care of them, I am fine with them being around.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
