I love working with children because it really reminds you to slow down and enjoy the little things. As adults we get caught up in the everyday routine its easy to skip over the little moments but to the kids its their childhood. Although I only have around 1 year of paid experience, I have volunteered for about 4 years of working with special needs children in a sports setting, and also weekly reading to pre-k to elementary students. I love creating engaging activities for kids inside and outside! Like daily walks, going to the park, doing crafts, doing musical acts, puzzles, video games, etc! Im passionate about sports being a previous Division 1 softball player in Texas so definitely always excited for some sports related activities! Im empathetic, caring, respectful and hardworking.
