I am passionate about kids and babies! I truly believe they are the future and that we need to invest ourselves in them. I have always loved being with kids. This passion started when I was young and it never stopped growing. I decided young that I wanted my future to be full of kids, so I decided to major in elementary education and I am currently one semester away from graduating at Utah State University. As a young teenager I spent many hours babysitting the neighbors. In particular, I took care of 4 girls 1-2 days a week whose ages ranged from 5 months to 8 years. While it was a lot of work, it was very rewarding work. I loved those girls! At age 16 I began teaching swimming lessons to kids ages 2-12, as well as for kids with disabilities. I loved teaching and continued to teach Read more for almost 7 years. My love for kids continued as I moved to China in 2011. I was hired to teach preschool in Shanghai for 6 months. Those kids became my whole life and I will never forget how they changed my life. Last year, I was able to be a summer nanny for 2 sweet twin girls who were 6 months old. I also have 3 nieces who have become my little obsessions. Kids truly are my passion and our future! My training and experience in the past 8 years includes: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) License - used for 3 years Lifeguard Certification - used for 7 years Swim Instructor Certification - used for 7 years
