I'm a 38 year old stay-at-home homeschooling mom to 12 year old twin girls. I'm very hands on and love being outside communing with nature. I garden, I can name native plants and trees (even some Latin names, super cool, I know!), I make shapes out of clouds, I play in rain puddles, I smell flowers, I make sand castles, I cook, I bake (my specialty is cheesecakes), I make what I affectionately refer to as 'crafty snacks', I'm a crafter, I can sew pretty much anything, I sing songs (not well, but I give myself an 'E' for effort!), I know lots of games, I finger paint, I make doodles out of fingerprints, I'm not afraid to get dirty, I love finding little rainbows when the sun hits just right, I love genuine giggles and bright shiny eyes, I'm a morning person that loves coffee (gotta keep up somehow!!) Read more and am also a night owl, I love watching stars and finding constellations, and I love rambling. But most importantly, I love kids. I've been involved in child care and/or tutoring since I was in the 2nd grade. I have moved through the ranks at a summer camp for underprivileged children (starting at dishwasher and making it all the way up to director). I was a live-in nanny to two different families and a temporary nanny to several more. I have a rather large family and I care for my nieces and cousins from time to time. I used to teach pre-school Sunday school and a missionettes' class at my church in Pflugerville.
