Hello!! I’m Sara! I’m a college student looking for a summer job while I’m home. I’ve babysat since I was teenager, but more recently I worked at a children’s hospital for 2 years and that’s where I really fell in love with caring for children. I got to meet a lot of parents and children and learn about different disabilities and diagnosis’ which over time made me feel even more confident taking care of children. I start nursing school in the fall and I hope to become a pediatric nurse, just like the ones I worked with. I feel that what sets me apart from others is that I take pride in creating a safe, welcoming, bubbly, and loving environment/feeling for the kids I take care of. Entrusting someone with your child is a privilege, and it can be scary. But it’s my goal to make both you, the parents, Read more and the child (or children) feel safe, have fun, and feel loved. Outside of school and work, I love to stay active by going on long walks, swimming, going to the gym, and going to Pilates classes. I also love to read. It’s one of my favorite activities and I love reading to children as well.
