I love working with children because I love being able to see how much they progress over time. Knowing you had something to do with it is a feeling I have never been able to replicate. I have babysat numerous times for family and friends and am looking to gain more experience. I lived with a close friend for numerous months and helped raised her two kids. When I moved in the youngest was a newborn and the oldest was hardly a year and a half. I helped anyway I could, anytime of day. I am currently studying psychology in college at Concordia University and I hope to be able to help children in the future with this degree. I am available as needed until the fall when I return to Austin for college. I assisted in a Pre-k and Elementary so I am familiar with teaching children and children Read more of all kind. I have worked with children with special needs in the past and would love to again. I graduated from Winston Churchill High School but previously attended private school. I can help with homework or studying if needed. I do have a car and I love animals of all kind. Growing up I had a nanny who was a big mentor to me, I saw her as a sister. I hope to be able to make an impact in a child’s life, even if it’s only to half the extent she did for me.
