Hello, my name is Mariona I am 19 years old and have resided in Texas for 9 years now. I have always loved the thought of babysitting when I was a child/teen-whether thats a friends child, family member, or anyone in need of some extra help with the little ones. I have baby sitted a few children ranging from newborn to 10 yr old so far. I’m great with children and love being goofy helping them understand they can be comfortable and have fun when I’m around, all while being safe. I’m the type of person who make silly faces in stores with kids just to get them to laugh or stop crying. I would treat them as if they were my own in giving the love, care, & concern they deserve. However, I don’t believe in me disciplining someone else’s child-even if I’m told it’s fine to do so. Read more I feel as though it is not my place to physically discipline the children, yet if the parents approve, the furthest I’d go would be a simple pop on their hand. The way you speak to a child could be enough discipline depending on how you use your words to help him/or her understand right from wrong while being mindful of their age. I basically act like that aunt who’s goofy and cool, but will tell them what is bad vs whats good. I love being around kids and if you have any pets, I wouldn't mind. They’ll have my full attention and will be just fine throughout my time with them. Just let me know the time(s) and day(s) yet, I won't be available Sundays other than some mornings.
