I have many hours of training and worked as a toddler teacher (18mos-2's) at St. William Early Childhood Development Center. My favorite part of being a babysitter/nanny is the ability to be an integral part of a child's development. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow and progress while in my care. The fact that I am with the child for many hours makes me realize I largely influence them and can impact their lives. It is a huge responsibility, but also a privilege. I became a caregiver because I enjoy working with children and I like the fact that no two days are the same. I like to have a variety in my work and being a babysitter/nanny provides that for me.
