I work as a daycare teacher and do lots of arts and crafts with them. having projects ready to do, and singing with them keeps them entertained. Working with kids has also taught me that having note cards with the ABC's, shapes, designs, foods also helps them interact and get to know what everything is and how it works. having them sing songs by themselves shows how well they remember the nursery rhymes and counting numbers also helps when they are picking up sticks or toys.
