Hi! I am currently looking for a part time job. Doing date nights, helping out around the house, or even if you just need someone to watch the kiddos for a night! I have been working with children for my whole life and have experience with children ages 9 months to 14 years. Recently I was a Preschool Teacher Assistant at Primrose Preschool. I worked with the Lead teacher on figuring out the best way to teach toddlers (2 1/2 y/os) about letters, colors, numbers, animals and plants , and how to write their own names. Before that I worked as a Kid Club Attendant, responsible for keeping children (6 months to 12 years) entertained while maintaining a safe environment. I also have worked as a swim instructor and can also teach swim lessons and water safety. I love doing outdoor activities (weather permitting) and am very gentle and caring Read more while still being firm. I am very reliable and enjoy keeping children safe while still having a good time, I have my own transportation and am CPR and First Aid certified. I also am very pet friendly as I have four dogs of my own. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Charlotte helped us take care of my five year old for ~ 6 weeks and out of those 6 weeks she had taken 1 week off. She came on last Mon (12/21) and went back in an hour saying she was sick. From 12/21 onward, we tried to communicate with her multiple times over messages and all she said was "Merry Christmas" in response to our wishing her. After which she never bothered to respond to our messages although we could see that she was reading them. We thought she lost her phone or something. We all were worried about her and I sent my hubby to check on her today and turns out she was doing just fine and quit without telling us. Her parents seemed like nice people and apologized saying she told them she let us know (obviously she lied). The only reason we went there to check on her was she left our house claiming sick and didn't think she would be so rude. We considered her like a family member and we thought we all got along good. We are absolutely fine with her quitting if she got a better job, if only she informed us and not kept us hanging for so long. Now that I look back and analyze the series of events, on this last Sunday (12/27), she blocked myself and my hubby on her phone so our messages weren't getting delivered and calls going to VM directly. We understood this as we tried calling her from another number and it was ringing. We tried to contact her over sittercity yesterday and today (although it seems that from her login time stamp she saw the messages) but she never contacted back. We were worried about her thinking that she was sick or so. Turns out she abandoned the job and acted very unprofessional without even telling us. We really liked her as our kiddo liked her and we were willing to work with her through any issues. (she didn't even give us a chance to make it work just in case she had issues with anything). Communication and openness is very important to us. She disappeared just like that and my 5 yr old misses her so much, made her Christmas present and she keeps asking when is Charlotte coming back and if she is ok. Charlotte didn't even bother to say goodbye to the child she was taking care of or give us any hints that she was abandoning the job. We took two weeks off to unpack our stuff as we just moved here and Charlotte spoiled all those plans as her departure was unplanned with no notice and we had to spend all our time to care for our kiddo past couple weeks. We didn't plan for a backup care or look for another nanny as we didn't think Charlotte would disappear like this. From our experience, Charlotte is unreliable and extremely unprofessional. Definitely not a nanny that I'd recommend to other parents.
