Greetings! My name is Olivia, or Liv, and I'm looking to raise funds for a small business I'm starting. My last job was at Jefferson HS, an AVID focused school, which makes me great for any parent looking for a sitter that has a plethora of enriching and fun activities to do. I am also the eldest of 3 girls and spent most summers babysitting them while out parents worked, including making sure they were fed and ensuring that all chores were done. I have also babysat often for one of my friends from high school, who had 2 children, a girl and a boy. I babysat them off and on as needed from when they were 3 (the girl, whose name is Sophia) and a toddler (the boy named Victor) until present time, with Sophia now 13 years old and Victor now 10. I was also a live-in nanny Read more for 2 small boys named Finn and Paul. I worked with Finn from his birth until he was 3 and Paul until he was 18 months. I would have loved to stay on longer, but the parents divorced and moved out of state. I miss them a lot, but am truly grateful for the experience. As for me, I'm certified to teach middle and high school English with a Special Education certificaron as well, so I'm very adept at de-esculating emotional outbursts in a calm and healthy way. I also enjoy and have the materials for tons of enriching activities including different types of crafts, cooking with kids safely, and I make it a point to know all the free days at the museums and different free events going on around town that could be both fun and educational for children. And even though my certification is in teaching, I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word. I'm currently trying to schedule a time to obtain my first aid/ CPR certificaron as well and will update this page as soon as it happens.
