Hello families! :) *I'm mainly on Babysitting Connection and background checked through there. I have CPR/First Aid cards that are current. I have many reviews I can screenshot from babysitting connection. I have a vehicle to come to you, but please note it doesn't have backseats, so I don't transport children. My name is Kristen, and I'm eager to offer my support and care for your children. Babysitting allows me to support families and gain valuable experience with a wide variety of children, which I find incredibly rewarding. With a diverse background spanning various roles, I bring a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. My journey began at a nonprofit group home for teenage girls in foster care, where I played a pivotal role in their growth and household management. Transitioning to clinics as a registered behavior technician, I specialized in working with young children Read more on the autism spectrum, emphasizing the importance of building strong connections with each child. Additionally, I served as an ability-inclusive summer camp coordinator, facilitating enriching experiences for children with disabilities. This role allowed me to create a supportive and inclusive environment for children of all abilities. I further honed my skills by running a household at a nonprofit for adults with special needs, gaining insights into the intersection of mental health and disabilities. Currently, I lead the special needs kids ministry at my church, where we prioritize individualized approaches and foster inclusive environments. My expertise extends to children and adults with special needs, disabilities, and neurodiversities across a wide age range, with a primary focus on ages 2-16. In challenging and high-intensity situations, I maintain composure and ensure the safety and well-being of those under my care. I enjoy assisting with homework, implementing creative lesson plans, engaging in enriching activities and providing light cooking and housekeeping support. Academically, I hold an Associates degree in Psychology and a Bachelors degree in Integrated Studies in Psychology and Theology, reflecting my commitment to understanding and supporting individuals on a holistic level. Outside of caregiving, I live at home with my two beloved cats and enjoy exercising. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to meet your family and offer patience, love, and attentive care to your child.

Hire her! Through the process of interviewing, hiring and then babysitting, Kristen was very responsive and prepared. She provided documentation and met in-person for an interview promptly and made the process so simplistic for hiring. She is a kind and genuine person and showed up with the intent to genuinely enjoy the company of our daughter. I will absolutely be hiring her in the future.
