Hi! My name is Jada Westmoreland and I am 23 years old. I moved to the Odessa area in August from Mississippi to help my now single mother and help take care of my 4 younger siblings that reside here with her as well, so I am around children daily. I do have a full time job as well Monday-Friday 8am-5pm , I work for the City Of Odessa as an Admin, In one of their departments. I did pass their background check and drug testing steps as well. I grew up with a big family and help take care of children my whole life and I have 10 siblings. I have worked with children and at daycares on and off for years since I was 14 years old from my aunt daycare to other establishments so I do have plenty of references in that field as well if needed. Read more I have worked from infant room up,toddler room,pre K room and older afterschool children all while working in daycares. I am comfortable watching children from infants to 12/13 years old. SKILLS For Child Care: -Strong communication skills with children and parents - Behavior management techniques/Positive Behavior Reinforcement. -Proficient in maintaining a safe and clean environment for children. -Skilled in diapering, toileting and potty training. -Food preparation and service. -Age-Appropriate Learning Activities. -Early Childhood Development. and many more. I am CPR Certified I was trained at the last daycare I worked at 2-3 years ago. My card has expired recently but if you are more comfortable with me re-training and getting a updated certification/card I can with no problem.
