HI! My name is Margy! NANNY/SITTER *After school pick up and activity runs I currently work in an organized, scheduled afternoon/early evening, day to day full time activities of 14/10 yo boys, in my 5th year in Southlake. /found on SitterCity. I'm expanding my horizons and looking for a like job for personal reasons. I love my job and the kids! However I'm looking for a change. I might not BE mom but I'm the closest thing to being your children's mom in your absence. I'm a single mom of 3 and will be "mom's personal assistant" & teammate, in raising her child. "IT TAKES A VILLAGE"! Especially navigating after school activities and getting each child to where they need to be and on time. I also am willing to wipe down any equipment used in extracurricular activities. I truly believe this as I moved to Texas from Michigan and Read more had no immediate family help. I'm energetic, very hands-on, reliable, trustworthy, take initiative, intuitive, and have an extremely strong work ethic. I love to give teaching moments infused w/humor, and hugs! I love making people laugh as it can diffuse a situation so you can get a point across. Communication is very important with love and respect for the child, the parents and the Nanny/Sitter! I have been working with children my entire life! I love children and thoroughly enjoy working with them. I came from a family where I had five siblings, I was the second oldest but the oldest daughter, and I grew up being my PARENT'S BUILT-IN BABYSITTER which propelled me to get a degree in education. Before moving to Texas I taught and coached for 3 years grades 7 through 12 and then one year here in Texas at Haltom High School, Special Ed. I have been a Babysitter or Nanny for years in every age group from infant through age 16, including multiples. My first real babysitting job was at age 13, where I watched twin 1-year-old girls and their 3-year-old brother for an entire summer. I have also been involved in many children's groups as a volunteer both as a public relations director and a choreographer. Prepared to handle: *car pools and driving to any extracurricular activities for the children * prepare children's water bottles or snacks for the next day. Because I am retired my availability can be up to 24/7 with advanced notice. * I also do date nights and overnights If I sound like I could be of help I would truly love to meet with you. * Requesting at least 19 - 22/hr BOE Kindly, Margy
