Since I was the youngest child of three I didn't grew up around smaller kids or baby's. My experience began when my sister delivered her first baby boy. Diego, would change my life course. During that time I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and His love for children is in me and highly compells me to lay aside everything for the wellbeing of the child. During graduate school, I would often help my sister by babysitting baby Diego. Now I'm blessed to have 2 nephews. I can't describe what a child means but I will try. A child smile and innocence overwhelms my heart with hope and joy. Taking care of a child is very rewarding. I've taught Diego how to use the Ipad and phone screen to be able to play and learn via electronics. I truly enjoy doing arts and crafts and teaching him life skills Read more that will help him for the rest of his life. Now Diego is almost 4 years old and we get to hang out in the museums, movie theaters, parks, eating his favorite ice cream and chocolate cake. I also helped the kids ministry at church by assisting the teacher by running errands and cleaning. I'm very patient and I'm able to see how every word that I speak to a child shapes their life because it affects the way they reason and communicate.
