Hi there my name is Maria, I am a traditional nanny/sitter. I decided to become a nanny/sitter so I can be around children and enjoy what they bring to life. I have a good relationship when it comes to children, I am very understanding and caring. My experience runs from infants-preteens. I have 4year paid experience but 7years plus with personal, with family and friends and my own kiddo who will be 7 soon! Couple examples of my previous families, I have cared for a little 3y for overnight FT. I worked with 2 kiddos who were 11 & 5 , helped clean around the home as well. Worked with a 4y old during weekend mornings. At the moment with an infant who I adore so much!! I clean and organize my kiddos things, feedings, naps, potty training, laundry, dishes. I like to have a positive bonding with my families Read more so everything can run smoothly and communication can be top notch VERY important. I like to make sure families treat their nanny with respect and care. Being in this field means that I am here to make the parents life easier in any way possible, make a learning environment/experience for the kiddos. I am so caring and loving towards the kids I work with and care for them as my own. I ask them how their day was and how they are emotionally feeling, making sure that they are wonderful! I like to help kiddos when they are having emotional distress and show them behavioral techniques to handle that distress in a positive way. Very understanding during certain situations and I can always handle any situation that may occur. My patience runs VERY deep, I can always set my foot down when needed, or correction is necessary. I really enjoy working with kids, they bring such a light to my day and always make me laugh in some way. They are so smart and inspiring interesting little beings :) I like to make sure we have fun when working with them of course after finishing their projects/homework :) make sure we go on walks get some sun, go to the park, learn some nature stuff etc. I love to read books to them during the day or before nap time. Listen to Disney songs and have a dance party or singing. I love playing like a kid with them around the room haha. Musical chairs, arts and crafts.
