I have been babysitting since I was a young teenager. Quite a few years have past since then. I am married and have three daughters who have blessed me with 7 grandchildren who I have had a hand in raising. I've raised a string of neighborhood children from 1st and 2nd born throughout my community. This has carried a reputation that has resulted in being more or less a "Pied Piper" within the neighborhood. All my neighbor's and their children call me "Nanny Jan." I enjoy volunteering to take children to libraries, sponsor sleepovers while parents enjoy a night off or a weekend away, or lending a helping hand during an unexpected family emergency.
