Hello! I love working with children because I enjoy sharing my personal and professional knowledge with others. I ensure they are treated with respect regardless of their age, or any other factors seen or unseen, such as physical or mental impairments. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Oklahoma City University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the State University of New York College at Potsdam, an Associate in Science degree in Human Services from Jefferson Community College, and certifications in: Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute; Personnel from the Oklahoma Office of Personnel Management; and Transportation from the United States Army. I also completed the Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED training. Since joining The Boeing Company in 2000, I have worked in a series of HR positions. I want to help mold the next generation of potential homemakers, teachers, leaders, doctors, lawyers, engineers, gamers, nurses, the list goes on. I spend my time volunteering with the Special Olympics of Texas as a scorer for bowling events; and lending and giving my time, talent, and treasure in the community by searching for housing, collecting essentials such as home furnishings, and clothing for the elderly. I am a wife (32 years...I need a medal!), and mother of two adult children (22 and 31 years of age). In my free time, I enjoy making pottery, archery, reading, and spending time with my family bowling, playing online battleship (with Commanders that is!), Dominoes, SkipBo, Phase10, Uno, and Mario Kart (although I never win, but I still have fun!). On May 4, 2024, I celebrated my youngest child who obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Sciences (Pre-Physical Therapy) from Oral Roberts University, and who will be pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree (proud Mom here!).
