Meet Mayra

• Comfortable with pets

Hi my name is mayra herrera and i love working with kids because i get to nurture and teach them(carefully following parents rules). Each kid brings a new personality in life and seeing them express and grow warms my heart because like them I was once a child too. I have cared for my sisters baby as well as her friends babies, and cousins. Although i’m not their mother, I care for every kid each day. I teach, read to them, nurture them, and safely watch them play, and if the kid is in sports I will gladly join them in outdoor activities as I grew up playing sports as well. I have my associates degree in general studies which was my major and minor was STEM science. I’m looking forward to continuing my education as a nurse and working in the NICU or with cancer patients. I love spending Read more time outside, going on walks interacting with the family pets, crafting and more! I have 5 letters of references from previous families. I have experience with new parents and i totally get how uncomfortable it is to go out for the first time so i’m happy to relive any anxieties with extra introductions, being on camera, and sending updates throughout our time together. I am most comfortable with the gentle parenting approach.
