Some of my proudest joys include music, and children! I am a full-time elementary music teacher currently on summer break from school. While I enjoy teaching kids in a school setting, I am currently looking for creative and fun ways to interact with kids other than school. My general experience working with kids includes house sitting with infants and toddlers in homes, to tutoring/mentoring, and taking care of children with various emotional-behavioral, physical, and cognitive challenges. What sets me apart from others is my compassion, and humility in guiding children to their fullest potential. Whether it is in learning a new instrument or song, or learning how to spell a new word for the first time. I get so happy knowing that I was there to help them reach their first milestones, which is what I mostly look forward to when working with kids in any setting. These qualities I Read more feel are lacking in our world, especially for our children who are being neglected. I am prepared and equipped to handle any challenges working with children, if it means I get to see their growth and potential at the very end.
