She is trustworthy, dependable, caring, patient and nurturing. As a nanny, she is passionate in her support and protection of our children and has served as a good moral compass as they have grown older. Donna has endured with us through the toughest of times as we suffered losses to our primary home through five flood events since 2015. Since employing Donna, we have spent time living in 6 different homes and she has remained flexible and understanding under extra-ordinary circumstances. In fact, she too was heavily impacted by Hurricane Harvey and never did her service to our children falter. We trust her driving our children to and from events across town. She takes an active role in the kids schedules and is a sideline cheerleader for them. Our children love her. As the kids have aged, Donna is assisting us with more household activities such as packing and unpacking, cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes and handing out chores to have the kids help out. The balance of discipline as a child-care provider has been handled well and our children respect, listen to and follow Donna's instructions. Donna is very good with crafts and helping with homework. Overall Donna's greatest strength is her love of babies and children. Her ability to endure time at length with kids and remain calm and collected forgoes the capability of our children's parents. She truly has a talent for baby and kid care. Donna is exceptionally reliable, and in the years of working with us has had to miss work less than a handful of time. Unfortunately circumstances have led us to not being able to retain Donna as an employee and we want to see her find her way into a new fantastic family.
