Hello, my name is Heather. I have been in the childcare field since 1996. I was hired at a school in Richardson Texas and remained with the company until 2020. I started at the age of 18 working with the infants. Over the next several years I worked with all ages from 6wks to 12 years. In 2002 I became the Assistant Director, and in 2009 I became the Director of the childcare center. Unfortunately, the pandemic led to the shutdown of our business. I absolutely adore children, they bring so much love and laughter to my life. My goal is to do the same for them. Children can never have enough love and support in their life, and even as a part time caregiver or full time nanny, the impact that a caregiver can have on a child can last a lifetime. Over the years I have been lucky Read more enough to develop wonderful bonds with children and their families. This career path has brought me more joy in my life than anything else I could imagine. I must say, infants are my passion, I am in my zone when I am taking care of the smallest of little ones. But I adore the older kids as well. There is nothing funnier than a three old! They are also great for your self esteem. Lol. I can wake up, throw my hair in a pony tail and put on some sneakers, a three year old will tell me how pretty my hair is and they love the pink in my shoes. There is no way you can walk in anywhere else and get adored for just being you. 😍 Toddlers and twos give me my daily exercise and keep my debating skills on point. Fours and Fives will have me researching the questions that I never thought I needed an answer to. And the school age kiddos are at an age that we are starting to form a little adult. The life lessons, morals, empathy, and responsibility really kick in at this age. It’s a beautiful thing to help shape their little minds to be someone their family and community will be proud of. I look forward to being an extended part of your family and sharing in the toughest job in the world, raising our little humans.
