I have been caring for children the past 10 years. When moving to Texas in 2011, I started working in the daycare setting. I worked with all ages, including infants and school aged children. I decided to branch out, becoming a Nanny in the spring of 2012. I was going to school while I nannied to become a Medical Secretary. I started working in Oral Surgery in January of 2013, and throughout that time, still working with children by gaining clientele for evening and date night babysitting services. I have found I prefer the nanny profession due to the closer bonds I can develop with children. Currently, I am a full time nanny for a 3 year old boy! Prior to this, I was a nanny for a three year old boy with special needs, as well as his twin brother who joined us part time. Activities that enhance Fine Read more Motor Skills, Cognitive Skills and Sensory exploration have been our favorites. I also assisted in physical and occupational therapy exercises daily. I would be a valuable candidate because i’ve worked with kids for a living and have experience with all ages. I am patient and loving as well as firm and consistent, which has allowed me to be an excellent teacher and child care provider. I am reliable, quick on my feet and an extremely hard worker. I also keep up to date on any training and continuing education courses, and recently took a 20 hour course on Newborn Care.
