Hi! My name is Echo and I'm an enthusiastic and responsible babysitter with 6 years of childcare experience from all ages. I love spending time with kids, creating fun and educational activities, and making sure children feel safe and cared for while parents are away. ABOUT ME: I'm 24 years old and work at Bright horizons throughout the day and I'm working on my bachelors for childhood education. My certifications include cpr, food preparations and first aid. I have experience working with children from 1 month to highschool age and am very comfortable with feeding, diapering and bedtime routines. My experience started in highschool, as a teaching assistant for my high school that included ages k-12th grade and summer camp counselor for scouts of America. (previously known as Boy Scouts of America) I soon became an Area director for the camp. This gave me the chance to develop strong organizational Read more skills, teach in a dynamic setting, work with a diverse group of young people and run educational activities for students. My experience as a camp counselor and area director was focused on game design, and art of all kinds including pottery, woodcarving and game design. I helped lead group activities, assisted in lesson planning and made sure students were safe and engaged and communicated effectively with both students and parents. My experience at Bright Horizons Daycare includes caring for children from infant to preschool. I have worked here for 3 years and continue to focus on child development, engagement and care. I believe in providing a balanced day of structural learning, outdoor play and downtime. Whether it's reading books, doing arts and crafts or playing educational games I always aim to make every moment meaningful.
