Hello! My name is Brittany. I’m a junior allied health student at TCU. My mom works at TCU and my sister is an alumni, so we’re a big horned frog family! I recently got married in May. My husband is going to medical school to become a pediatrician. I have experience of babysitting from ages infant to 15 years old. I have been babysitting for 8 years. I have experience with special needs children as I have worked in group homes in the past. I have experience staying overnight with children. I have taken care of up to 5 children at once. Im a night owl, so when parents come home late it does not bother me. When I babysit, I typically like to do any activities that the children enjoy. Painting, crafting, playing outside, going to parks, watching movies, playing with toys, building forts, etc. I love animals. I Read more have a dog named Georgia and a hamster named Cupcake. My husband and I really want kids of our own but with us both in school right now, it’s not a good time. My family loves to travel. I’ve been on more cruises than I can count haha. I work PRN at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth as an ER medical scribe. I have loved and been around children all my life. When a child needs discipline, I choose to put them in time out rather than spanking or other forms. I do not believe in hurting a child as a form of discipline. I say this, but it’s not very often when I’m babysitting that a child needs discipline from me. Most the time, I try to have a one on one talk with them being understanding of the difficulty they’re experiencing with their parents leaving and being left with someone they don’t know. I offer to play with them, distract them. This usually works! I always want kiddos to be happy. Seeing any child unhappy hurts my heart. I’d love to watch your kiddos and look forward to hearing from you!
