I worked at a daycare in San Antonio, TX between 2017-2018. I worked with babies/kids ages between two months-eight years old. Depending on the age group, I would make sure to do extra curricular activities such as playing outside (recess), dancing and singing to learning songs, reading books, arts and crafts, group activities and so much more. When I worked with the younger babies (newborn-12 months) I made sure to keep the newborns separated from the 6-12 month old babies. The 6-12 month babies would stay active, learning how to grab and hold things, crawl, then later walk. I worked with babies that were formula fed and breastfed (straight from the breast or breastmilk bottle fed) so I know how to take care of the breastmilk throughout the day and how to prepare the bottles (I breastfed my son as well). Children are our next generation, in my opinion, everyone Read more should take huge interest in children and help them develop. The activities I loved to do with the children would be things such as arts and crafts to help the children open up their artistic minds and imagination, which leads to a creative mind. Other actives would include reading books, signing and dancing to learning songs. Learning responsibilities for eaves child, by teaching them their own responsibilities and manners.
