Working with children/students and families has been a long-time passion of mine. I was previously a Preschool Teacher (Seattle Public Preschools) in the North Seattle area. Since then I have moved to Dallas. I've assisted with children ranging anywhere between the ages of 2-12 years old and adolescents ages 13+. I am comfortable caring for more than one child at a time and throughout my time spent as an undergraduate at the University of Washington have volunteered at the local Boys and Girls club, Kenmore Head Start program, Dream Project (mentoring middle school and high school aged students), and have also been involved in community organized activities. I am bilingual (Spanish speaking), enjoy working with multi-ethnic communities and simply love making learning fun & memorable.
