Hi my name's Jennifer and here's a little about me -- Children are my passion and I am most fulfilled when I am building strong bonds with kids and watching them grow. I have worked with children since my first job in high school at a daycare center, where I was positioned in both the ‘wobbler’ classroom (babies 18 months to 3 years), and the after-school program. Most recently, I worked as nanny to an infant, beginning when the baby was around 5 months old until she started Montessori school at 18 months, and I still get to see her occasionally (which I absolutely love). I also care for her elementary school-aged siblings simultaneously, at times. This includes transportation, attending the children’s sporting events, checking homework, simple meal and snack preparation, bedtime routines, laundry, and reading. Off and on since high school, I have worked as a swim coach and Read more swim instructor, with 99.9% of my students being children of all ages (infancy through teen). Overall, I have an estimated over 7 years of childcare experience. Although I am not yet a parent, my empathy, and desire to raise strong individuals and set the best example possible for all children, is what sets me apart. Bonuses: My degree is in nutrition, so guiding your children toward healthier food choices comes naturally to me. I was also a great student, so I can help with tutoring when needed.
