Hello there! My name is Samantha, but the kids I look after like to call me Miss Sam. I grew up in a military family and traveled a lot as a child, having the opportunity to experience and understand more about the great things in this world. As the eldest of 3, I was always looking after my younger siblings. Children have always been easy for me to empathize with and I enjoy seeing joy spark in them when they are cared for well - I believe a healthy environment and genuinely caring people are crucial for the upbringing of a child and I understand it's very important for parents to trust and feel safe/comfortable with another person who would be taking care of their children. I've been babysitting on and off since I was in Highschool and have been working at a small daycare inside of a gym for Read more over 6 years now (It's hard to leave when you watch kids you take care of, and create bonds with, grow up and into these amazing individuals!) I find it very rewarding to be able to help children and families however I can, and it's even more rewarding when the families I work with come and tell me how much of a positive influence I have been in their lives - some even asking for outside babysitting services or to even switch my place of employment to where they know I will be there taking care of their children. Kindness, patience, understanding, health consciousness and safety awareness are all very important to me when it comes to children of all ages, so I apply those values and more into my work when dealing with children.
