Howdy! I am currently a director of education working on getting my masters in museum education. I have taught 6-12 grade and worked in early childhood development. I coordinate STEAM and state aligned lessons to be taught at my museum and love doing fun activities with kiddos. I have worked as a life guard, a nanny (4 month old- 1st birthday), an assistant Pre-K teacher at Hancock Elementary School in Houston, a department head for a high school, middle school teacher, and at Kiddie Academy as their summer camp director. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I come from a large family with lots of babies. I have always loved kids and doing fun activities. I grew up helping watch my younger cousins and volunteering in church nurseries. I have worked the VBS at my church since I was in middle school and love going to church. I was Read more in a Sorority and love doing crafts and activities that support developing imagination and creativeness. My family always calls on me to help with art/craft projects. I am also very outdoorsy and love hiking, camping, picnics, and taking my dog to the park. Having worked as a lifeguard, I am very capable of handling multiple children on outings to the pool. I have owned and handled many different animals in my life, so, pets do not bother me! I had 5 dogs at one point (4 rescues)! I also currently have a cat and have previously cared for snakes, fish, horses, a hedgehog, and many other smaller animals.
