Hi! I am a college student at Southwestern University! I am currently a junior and plan on staying in Georgetown for the next 2 years. I have had many experiences with childcare, especially with infants and younger children. My family fostered infants for several years- eventually adopting two young boys. The years spent caring for infants within my family has provided me with very hands on experience with childcare. I am proficient in everything from changing diapers, cooking meals and putting infants to bed. Outside of my familial experience, I have babysat for multiple families since the age of 12. I have babysat ages from 0-14, including children with mental handicaps. I have had recent experience caring for older children-transporting them from school to other locations. I have also worked in a church nursery for the past year, caring for multiple children ages 2-5. I have not taken a course Read more in childcare recently, but I have had 8 years of intensive hands on experience and am confident in my ability to care and provide safety to your child. When caring for a child, forming personal relationships with said child is very important to me. Whether it be reading to your child, bringing board games to play or helping out with homework, I am dedicated to ensuring your child's personal, intellectual and emotional growth.
