🦋 Howdy, y’all! My name is Liz and I’m a Junior at UT Austin studying Art History and Child Development. Here’s a bit about me. I grew up babysitting and working as a summer camp counselor. In 2023, I began teaching art classes to elementary school children through Young Rembrandts. This summer, I took on a new role as a preschool teacher. Both jobs have been a total joy. I’m an engaged caretaker who can play for hours, but I always make sure to sneak in some educational content. It’s really important for me to get kids moving and learning. I love to sing, dance, play make believe, read, watch movies, cook, clean, and learn about the world around us. I make sure to keep an open line of communication with parents, as they know what’s best for their child’s health and well-being more than anyone else. I’ve been CPR Read more and First Aid certified for a while, and I recently became certified in SIDS prevention and SBS prevention. I also have a Food Handler’s License! Safety is of utmost importance to me. Trusting your child’s safety with another person is something that I do not take lightly.
