Hi! My name is Kim. I am originally from Houston but I came to Austin for school. I go to UT Austin as an Education major. I want to be an elementary school teacher. I have always liked being around children but what made me fall in love with them was when my baby sister was born when I was 14. My mom is a single mother, so I really had to step up. Unlike many other kids, I really enjoyed it. Of course there were trying times, but I feel like it really helped learn a lot. I currently work at a tutoring center called Kumon and it has helped me figure out what I wanted to do with my future. But being in Austin, away from her, has made me miss her terribly.
