Hi there! I'm Marisa - a former first-grade teacher turned toddler enthusiant looking for part-time work as I transition into graduate school. I've been in Austin since 2016 where I've worked as a toddler teacher in a Montessori classroom, nannied during the COVID years, and most recently worked in EI. My teaching philosophy revolves around child-led, play based learning with a strong emphasis on social-emotional development. I'm here to help work through those big feelings with grace, patience, and a healthy dose of silliness! I enjoy spending time outside, baking projects, dance parties and deeply believe in learning through art and sensory play. Looking forward to meeting you!
