Hi! My name is Nicole and I am a University of Texas at Austin graduate. I majored in Human Development & Family Sciences, which essentially means that I studied child and adult development with a focus on family structures. My courses were very relevant to child care, particularly early childhood. I have experience working with elementary-aged children and toddlers through babysitting, after-school programs for students in Austin, and in-classroom teaching experiences at the University of Texas at Austin Priscilla Pond Flawn Child & Family Laboratory. I have also been a summer camp counselor at Kids Across America and was an after-school science teacher for MADScience Austin. I volunteered in various sections of Dell Children's Hospital, previously in the Volunteer Services and Child Life department. I later joined the Children’s Comprehensive Care Clinic. I am BLS, CPR, and First Aid certified.
